How much tax will the buyer pay?

The buyer pays 13% RST (Retail Sales Tax) when registering the vehicle at ServiceOntario. The tax is calculated on the greater of the purchase price or the Canadian Red Book wholesale value — this prevents tax avoidance through artificially low sale prices.

What does "As Is" mean?

In Ontario, private vehicle sales are typically sold "as is" — meaning the vehicle is sold without any warranty. The buyer accepts the vehicle in its current condition. Do both parties need to sign?
